Script Count

There are two ways to count worn scripts in Firestorm. One method allows you to view the total number of scripts on your avatar or in a selected attachment on your avatar. The other method shows you a list of all your worn scripted attachments with their script memory (not number of scripts) displayed.

Method 1: Worn Script Count

For the total number of scripts you're wearing:

  • Right-click your avatar tag or any non-mesh, non-prim part of your avatar.
  • Select Script Info.
  • In nearby chat, find a message like this: [10:37:32] Script info: 'Your Name': [7/9] running scripts, 528 KB allowed memory size limit, 0.010705 ms of CPU time consumed. (This message is only visible to you.)
  • The numbers in brackets are how many scripts your avatar is wearing and how many are running. In this example, there are 7 scripts running out of a total of 9.

For the number of scripts in a specific attachment:

  • Right-click the worn item. It may be mesh, prim, or a HUD.
  • Select More → Script Info (pie menu) or just Script Info (non-pie menu).
  • In nearby chat, find a message like this: [10:51:34] Script info: 'Item Name': [3/3] running scripts, 192 KB allowed memory size limit, 0.001745 ms of CPU time consumed. (This message is only visible to you.)
  • The numbers in brackets are how many scripts your avatar is wearing and how many are running. In this example, there are 3 scripts running out of a total of 3.

Bridge

Please note: Your Firestorm LSL Bridge is needed for Method 1 to work. If you do not see a message in nearby chat after following the above steps, then make sure it's worn and enabled:

  • To check that it is worn, open the Current Outfit folder in your inventory and look for a link to #Firestorm LSL Bridge.
  • To check that it is enabled, open your Firestorm Preferences (Ctrl-P or Avatar → Preferences in the menus) and go to Preferences → Firestorm → Extras. Make sure that there is a checkmark in the box alongside “Enable LSL-Client Bridge.”
  • If it isn't worn, or if it's worn and enabled but still not working, then see our bridge page on how to recreate it.

Method 2: List of Scripted Attachments

  • In the menus at the top of your screen, go to World → Parcel Details. This opens the About Land window.
  • At the bottom of the About Land window, find and click Script Info. This opens the Script Information window.
  • At the top of the Script Information window, select the Avatar tab.
  • In this tab, you can view a list of scripted worn attachments and the script memory that applies to each. Note: “Size (kb)” refers to script memory, not number of scripts.
