Camera Position Window
The Camera Position window is opened via the Camera Controls window or the CameraTools window.
The Camera Position window contains settings for the position of your camera in relation to your avatar. This is the position that your camera will be in when your avatar is moving or standing/sitting in place (not “cammed” away from your avatar).
- Camera Offset X, Y, and Z: These control the camera's position in space.
- Focus Offset X, Y, and Z: These control the camera's focal position (where the camera is pointing).
- Camera Offset Scale: This moves the camera position along the same axis as Camera Offset X, but at a larger scale.
- Save as Preset: This allows you to save your current settings as a preset in Camera Controls or CameraTools. The specific settings that are saved are
- Preferences → Move & View → View → Distance (Debug: CameraOffsetScale)
- Ctrl-scroll (Debug: CameraOffsetRearView)
- Shift-scroll (Debug: FocusOffsetRearView)
- Preferences → Move & View → View → Transition time (Debug: ZoomTime)
- Preferences → Move & View → View → Smoothing (Debug: CameraPositionSmoothing)
- AvatarSitRotation
- CameraOffsetBuild
- TrackFocusObject
