This page is for problems with the built-in SL outfit system.

If you previously created outfits that worked, but now the folders are empty, see Troubleshooting Missing Inventory.

If you are trying to make a new outfit but nothing appears in the outfit folder, see Outfits Won't Save.

If you try to use the “Replace Current Outfit” feature and nothing happens, you are most likely having connection or region problems. Follow these steps:

1. Go to a different region, and preferably a known low-lag region, such as Cyclops or Hippo Hollow.
2. Relog there, to same location.
3. Try replacing your outfit.
4. If that doesn't work, power cycle your modem/router and computer. Unplug modem/router from all power. Wait at least 2 minutes. Plug them back in. Reboot your computer at this time.
5. Try replacing outfit again.

Look inside the outfit folder; the folder is most likely empty. If empty, see Troubleshooting Missing Inventory.

This is an old, intermittent bug. Refer to this SL bug report. The only known solution is to relog.

Switch to the Outfit Gallery tab. Open the gear menu at the bottom and select Sort Folders Always by Name. Relog.
