Making stuff
Learning to build inside Second Life is useful for things such as adjusting attachments you're wearing and also to learn building basics if you intend to do some 3d modeling to bring mesh objects into Second Life.

Marketplace
1. Go to the Marketplace Website.
2. Look at the left side of the page, and pick a Category. (In the picture below, I picked Apparel.)
3. Place zeroes in both boxes (0 to 0)
4. Check the box Do Not Show “Demo Items”
5. Then click “Refine Search” you will see a lot of Freebies. I just did this and got over 14,000 listings.

Groups and Gifts
To get a Group Gift you have to either join the Group, or pay a fee to Join the Group. Most places also offer Lucky Letter Boards/Chairs, or Midnight Mania.
