Menus and Preferences
LookAt: Limit distance from head: Clamps your lookat target around your head. Limits the lookat crosshair to a fixed distance from your avatar, showing the general direction of viewing but not the actual lookat target.
Graphics - Hardware Settings: Enable support for HiDPI displays: (Mac OSX only; requires restart). This will generally give you a sharper display but a lower frame rate.
RestrainedLove API: RLV v3.2.1 / RLVa v2.2.0

Love Me Render and HiDPI Retina Display
This viewer adds retina display support on Mac, and has a variety of graphics-related fixes.
Note: for Mac displays with HiDPI support, retina display mode will be enabled by default. This will generally give you a sharper display but a lower frame rate. If you want to disable HiDPI display, go to the preference settings page Me→Preferences→Graphics→Advanced Settings, and uncheck the box “Enable support for HiDPI displays (requires restart)”; then restart the viewer.

This shiny new viewer is a brave foray into improving the state of Estate Access Management! We can’t wait to see what you think about it. Here’s what you’ll find:
New “Access” tab in the Region/Estate floater with subtabs for “Estate Managers”, “Allowed”, “Allowed Groups”, and “Banned”
Recording banned date, banned by, and last login for each banned account †
Search & Sort within each of the sub-tabs
Copy Banlist & Allowed-list
Added a confirmation for adding or removing from a list
More Estate Managers!
We’re upping the number to 15. Remember, with great power comes great responsibility.
†these features only available going forward.
Known Issues
There is an issue where newly added Estate Managers will need to relog in order to view access lists.

Environmental Enhancement Project - EEP
Welcome to the Environmental Enhancement Project (aka EEP!)
EEP is a major enhancement to the legacy Windlight environments, introducing new inventory object for defining the environmental settings.
Highlights
Shareable environmental objects that you can keep in your inventory.
Parcel level control of environments.
Up to four different sky layers that may be set independently.
More options for customization.
And much, much more
Where Can I See EEP
EEP is now released on the main grid.
Personal Lighting
This EEP RC includes a new Personal Lighting floater. When you open this floater it will snap an image of the current shared environment wherever you are standing. You are presented with a number of controls that allow you to make quick modifications to the environment, including sun and moon position, ambient lighting, and more!
Importing my old settings
You can import your old Windlight settings into EEP.
Open an environment editor (Daycycle, Sky, or Water)
Select the Import button - This will open a file picker dialog
Navigate to where you have stored your Windlight XML files and select the file you would like to import - This is usually “SecondLifeViewer/app_settings/windlight/”
You should import Windlights of the same type as the editor you have open (Daycycle, Sky, or Water) Windlight XML files are very sensitive to the directory structure. Files should be laid out as follows: ./windlight/days ./windlight/skies ./windlight/water

Second Life Release Viewer version 6.1.0.524670

BugSplat viewer
Update changes
This viewer introduces a revised updater, replacing the current Viewer Manager Process (VMP). Instead of running the VMP before every viewer session, we now run the updater as a child process of the viewer. Viewer notifications are used to alert the user to a pending update.
This viewer starts more quickly than with the VMP. It displays only one Taskbar or Dock viewer icon. Pinning that icon should behave exactly as expected, going forward.
Pinned icons for the Viewer Launcher and VMP-driven viewer may need to be deleted and recreated.
We still run the updater before _first_ launching a newly-installed Windows viewer, to address the potential problem of installing a 64-bit viewer on a Windows system that does not support it. Similarly, if you install a 32-bit viewer on a Windows system that can support the 64-bit viewer, it retrieves the 64-bit viewer instead.
Bugsplat
If this viewer crashes, the crash report is sent to BugSplat rather than to Linden's internal crash reporting system.
(Third party developers: the existing Breakpad crash-reporting code is still present in the code base. BugSplat integration is enabled by a CMake variable.))
